Maradona: Argentina will beat Brazil

Diego Armando Maradona

"My guys are ready for Brazil. They are razor-sharp ready", said Argentine head coach Diego Maradona.

This great duel in 15th round of South American World Cup Qualifying will be played on the fifth of September in Rosario.

"We will win because we have the best players. The victory against Brazil will show that we are really good", said the optimistic 49-year-old coach, who insisted that home matches will be transferred from the River Plate Stadium to Rosario – Lionel Messi hometown.

"My players also want to change the stadium. It didn’t happen suddenly. Dissatisfaction has existed for some time. Nevertheless, the fact that we play in Rosario does not guarantee our victory."

Brazil is the first on the qualifying table with 27 points, while Argentina is fourth with 22, which now seems quite vulnerable, since only the first four positions leads directly to the World Cup 2010.
