90 percent of tickets for World Cup are sold

One month before the World Cup, the organizers of the competition in South Africa are satisfied with the number of sold tickets. For the FIFA World Cup, which will be held from the 11st of June to 11th July, 90 percent of the total number of tickets are sold, which is around three million.
"Just last week were sold about 300,000 tickets. It seems that every World Cup match will be visited by maximum number of fans", said head of the Organising Committee of World Cup Danny Jordaan on Tuesday.
The vast majority of tickets for 2010 World Cup are sold in South Africa at significantly lower prices than prices in rest of the World.
