Rooney call fans to support Terry

Before friendly between England and Egypt on Wembley, which will be played as one of the World Cup 2010 preparation matches on Saturday, 3 March, striker Wayne Rooney has called fans to support John Terry.

As you know, Terry love affair with ex-girlfriend of his former teammate Wayne Bridge from Chelsea, sparked massive media attention on the island, and English coach decided that Terry will not be captain of English team.

How relationship between Terry and Bridge are disturbed showed Saturday's match between Chelsea and Manchester City where Terry Bridge refused handshake with Terry, and turned off the performance at the World Cup in South Africa because he do not want to play in the same team as Terry.

"John Terry is the leader of our team. Now he is not captain, but he’s still a great player and great leader. Wayne Bridge is also a great player and now when Ashley Cole was injured he could take his place. I'm sorry for Bridge decision, but it must be respected", said Rooney.
