English camp for the World Cup 2010 is a big construction site

English camp

London's tabloid The Sun has published pictures of English team World Cup training camp, where team will be placed ahead of and during the FIFA 2010 in South Africa.

England Coach Fabio Capello should visit Bakofeng near Rustenburg on Monday, to check work progress on the camp, where English stars should come to make final preparations for World Cup 2010.

"Five-star hotel has not yet finished and training fields have problems with drainage. Full training complex is one big construction site, overcrowded with construction materials and workers", writes The Sun.

English Football Association (FA) announced that the entire project in Bakofeng progressing according to plans and will be completed at a time, before 2010 World Cup starts. English team arrives in South Africa on 3rd of June.

I am not surprised with this situation; the decision to host so expensive event in such a poor country is nonsense.

I think 3 month is not a lot of time, especially for big projects like the World Cup.

Is anyone else out there sick to death of the negative press that the World Cup is receiving? A lot can happen in 3 months! The pitch is likely to be waterlogged NOW! It is summer and that means torrential thunderstorms and flooding. In June there is absolutely no rain! Can the prese please stop talking it down - really doesn't help anyone and isn't news.
