Deco leaving national team after 2010 World Cup

32-year-old Portuguese footballer Anderson Luís de Souza, better known as Deco, has announced that he would stop playing for the national team after the World Cup 2010.
"I will finish the career in national team after the World Cup finishes, because of my age and because it's tiring. I decided to make room for younger players in the national team", said Deco for Radio Globo.
Deco was born and raised in Brazil, and become Portuguese citizen in 2002, after he was a resident of Portugal for six years. During this period Deco played for Alverca, Salgueiros and Porto. From 2004th to 2008th he was a member of Barcelona, then he moved to London where he plays for Chelsea.
