Italy has announced a 3 friendlies before 2010 World Cup

The Italian national football team will play friendly matches against Cameroon, Mexico and Switzerland before the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, where Italy will defend World Champion title which they won at World Cup 2006.

“Azzurri” will play against Cameroon on 3rd of March in Monaco, against Mexico on 3rd of June in Brussels and against Switzerland on 5th of June in Geneva.

Italian Football Federation has announced that there is a possibility that the match against Mexico to be played at a different location.

On World Cup 2010 Italy will play in the group F with Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia. All three Italian opponents for friendly matches are also qualified for 2010 World Cup.
