FIFA: World Cup ticket sale is going as planned

International Football Federation (FIFA) has denied that they are dissatisfied with the World Cup 2010 tickets sale.

FIFA attacked the world's media that have published information that the ticket sale is catastrophic. For countries participating in the World Cup will be introduced an extra round of ticket sale, which will run simultaneously with the fourth round of sales in which can participate all interested fans, regardless of whether their team is qualified or not for 2010 World Cup

So far, most requests for tickets came, which is understandable, from the host country, around 950,000 tickets. After South Africa greatest interest showed Americans where was 41,000 requests for tickets.

"The interest for the tickets is less than for World Cup 2006, but this is understandable considering the distance. However, news that there was not enough applications for tickets are incorrect", said president of the Organizing Committee, Danny Jordan.
