USA vs. Costa Rica 2-2: Bornstein has shocked Costa Rica in 95'

In the most interesting match of the last round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, Costa Rica led against the United States in Washington with 0-2 result until 72nd minute, but the hosts managed to equalize result in extra time, and push the visitors in additional qualifications for World Cup 2010.

Costa Rica led with Brian Ruiz goal in 21st minute. Just three minutes later, the same player scored again, and the result is set to 0:2. This result is retained until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Costa Rica has not scored any goals, but Michael Bradley in 72nd minute has scored goal for host – the USA.

Costa Rica was almost qualified for 2010 World Cup, but in the fifth minute of extra time Bornstein has shocked Costa Rica with goal in 95th minute, and equalize result to 2-2.

To qualify for World Cup in South Africa, Costa Rica will play against 5th team from South American qualifying - Uruguay.
